CYP started in 2016 as a Friday night dinner for twelve friends in a Surry Hills apartment. It is now the biggest Jewish young-adult community in the city: four hundred people at our Rosh Hashanah dinner, a hundred and fifty most Friday nights, and a WhatsApp group that never sleeps.
We do Judaism without the awkwardness — great food, good music, honest conversations about faith, work, love and everything else, and a rabbi and rebbetzin who actually pick up the phone.
